Student Housing Guide
Students can live at home, live on campus in residence or dorm, live near campus in a shared rental accommodation, rent a room, rent a basement suite, rent an apartment, etc.. The choice of living arrangement will depend on several factors including your budget (do you have the resources to pay for accommodation), whether your school or college is close to home or in another city, your transportation (do you have a car, bike and/or is city transit available to the campus), do you like sharing a place to live, etc..
Most students find student housing through friends and family, by checking local newspapers rental listings, checking Craigslist rental listings, looking on notice boards at the college, by contacting the Student Housing Services department at colleges or universities (if there is one) or by checking websites that specialize in student housing.
